These instructions are for students joining a class and creating an account on Pivot Interactives.
There are two ways to join a class:
If you were given a CLASS KEY by your instructor:
Go to www.pivotinteractives.com and click “Join a Class” in the upper right corner next to the “Log In” button.
Enter your class key, then click “Continue.” When you do this, the class name and instructor’s name will appear, if the key is correct. Click “Confirm” to join the class.
Create an account by completing the sign-up page OR clicking “Log in” if you already have a Pivot Interactives Account.
If you are in a Student-Pay Course
You will now be prompted to enter your bookstore code or pay with a card. Enter your bookstore code in the “Code” box, then click “Join Class.” If you did not purchase a bookstore code, you can pay for your course subscription with a credit or debit card.
If you were given a JOIN LINK by your instructor:
Click on the join link provided by your instructor.
If you are using Canvas, D2L/Brightspace, Blackboard, or Schoology, it is important that you click this link from within your course page.
This will open a confirmation page. Verify that the class name and instructor’s name are correct. Click “Confirm” to join the class.

If you are in a Student-Pay Course
You will now be prompted to enter your bookstore code or pay with a card. Enter your bookstore code in the “Code” box, then click “Join Class.” If you did not purchase a bookstore code, you can pay for your course subscription with a credit or debit card.
