Overview

The Pivot Interactives store is the easiest and most efficient way to buy a new subscription or renew an existing one. There are two ways to subscribe. Instructors or their institutions can:

  1. Purchase a Classroom/Institutional or District License for one or more instructors.

  2. Create a Student Pay License where each student pays individually using a credit card or inputs a code purchased from your institution's bookstore.

The minimum purchase for any subscription is 10 seats. High school licenses are active for 365 days. College licenses are active for 1 term.

See more on how to administer your license here.

Instructors may also sign up for a full 30-day free trial.

To get a quote, fill out the required information on the first and second screens, then click Send me a quote at the bottom of the page.

Purchasing Options

If you do not have a Pivot Interactives account and you wish to purchase access, you can go to our store and purchase access for the first time. If you have an account already, you will need to renew that account instead.

Classroom/Institutional License

  • These are licenses for one or more teachers in a school or district where the seats are paid for by the teacher, school, or district. There is no cost to the students in an institution-paid course.

  • Seats may be added to a license at any time and are pro-rated based on the license's expiration date.

  • Any number of instructors may be on a license. Total student enrollment for all instructors on the license must be less than or equal to the number of seats purchased.

  • All on the license expire at the end of the license period. There are no rollovers from one license period to the next.

District License

  • Includes all features of a Classroom/Institution License

  • Advanced Rostering and SSO

  • Advance LMS Integration

  • Reporting dashboard with usage insights

  • On-demand or virtual professional development

  • Note: There are no rollovers from one license period to the next.

Student Pay License

  • These are licenses for one or more teachers in a school or district where the student pays the seats. There is no cost to the teacher, school, or district in a student-paid course.

  • Upon joining your class in Pivot Interactives, students will be prompted for payment before they can join the class.

  • Students can enter either their credit card information or enter a code purchased from your institution's bookstore.

  • All student-pay seats expire at the end of the purchase term: high school seats last for 365 days; college seats last for 135 days. They are not transferrable but can be refunded in some instances.

Course Codes

  • These are bookstore codes purchased by resellers.

  • A student can use each code to enter a student pay class.

  • These codes do not expire and are not refundable.

Purchasing or Renewing a License

How to get started

There are two ways to start an institutional purchase:

  • From the Pivot Interactives store, click on the "Create a Quote" button under Institutional License.

  • From an active license admin page, scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Renew license."

Configure a Plan

This will bring you to the Configure a Plan page:

Education Level:

  • High School

    • For grades 6-12.

    • Last for 365 days.

    • Seats cost $5/ea.

  • College

    • For colleges and universities

    • Last for one term or 135 days

    • Seats cost $10/ea.

Plan Size:

  • This is a good-faith estimate of the number of student seats you will need. Do not include instructors in this count. Instructor access is free with your subscription. Don't worry about being too exact. If you run out of seats on your license, you can add more later.

  • Discounts begin with purchases of over 250 seats.

Student Access Dates

  • This is the start date of your license.

  • For high schools, this will be your renewal date each year.

  • For colleges, these should be the start and end dates of your semester.

Once you have completed this page, click Continue to create the admin account for your license.

Education Contact Person and Institution Details

The Educational Contact Person serves as the license admin for your account. Admins can view usage statistics, manage account access, and can renew the license. This is usually an instructor, department chair, or curriculum director.

You can have multiple admins, so don't worry; you can add more later.

For this person, you will include:

  • Their name (first and last)

  • Their email address - this will be the email they will use to log in to Pivot Interactives

  • Their role or job title

  • Any subjects that the person teacher

After this, you will complete the Institution Details. This information is used to verify your school to complete the purchase.

Please include all of the information requested to ensure a smooth approval.

Once this is finished, you can request a quote/invoice by clicking "Send me a quote," or you can process your purchase with a credit card or purchase order by clicking "Continue to Payment."

  • Requesting a quote will take you to the Quotes page. This page is unique to your quote and can be shared with anyone in your purchasing department.

If you Continue to Payment, you will reach the Billing Details page.

The Billing Contact is the person in charge of processing payments. If this matches the education contact you just created, check the Same as Education Contact box to copy that information.

  • You can pay with a personal credit card or an institution credit card. Please ensure that the billing information listed above matches the card's billing information used for the purchase.
