Overview
If your school installed Pivot Interactives into Canvas prior to August 5th, 2024, then you will need to update the configuration settings in order to take advantage of new features we've implemented since then. These steps must be done by someone with admin privileges in Canvas.
Update Settings in Canvas
Click Admin
Click Developer Keys
Click the pencil icon to edit the key
βUnder Method, change Manual top Paste JSON
Fully delete contents of the LTI 1.3 configuration box.
Paste the contents of the text file below into the LTI 1.3 configuration box.

βClick to download the Pivot Interactives Configuration JSON
βClick Save
Update Settings in Pivot Interactives
Email our support team at support@pivotinteractives.com with the following information:
Client ID - found on the Developer Keys page above the Show Key button. Do not send us the value shown when you click Show Key.
Deployment ID
Click Settings
Click Apps
Click View App Configurations
Click the gear icon across from Pivot Interactives
Click Deployment ID
Canvas domain (usually something like
schoolname.instructure.com
).
We will respond once we've made the appropriate updates on our end, which usually happens within 1 business day.
